The work we take on

We handle land surveying for homeowners across Medford, from quick, routine requests to the larger projects that need research and planning before anyone heads out. What happens on a land surveying job

No two jobs are identical, but done properly the work follows the same broad sequence:

1. Researching the deed, recorded plat, and any prior surveys of record before anyone goes to the field
2. Recovering the original monuments, the iron pins, stones, or nails that mark the corners of record
3. Measuring the parcel with GNSS and a total station, tied to the state plane coordinate system
4. Computing the boundary against the deed calls and resolving any gaps, overlaps, or conflicts
5. Setting and stamping new corner markers where originals are missing, then flagging them so they're visible
6. Locating improvements, easements, and encroachments, fences, drives, and structures near the lines

What this work typically uses

• GNSS/GPS RTK rovers that fix a position to the centimeter off the state's CORS reference network
• Robotic total stations that track a single-operator prism for angle-and-distance measurement
• Digital data collectors running field software that ties every shot to real-world coordinates
• Precise digital levels and bar-coded rods for elevation work and FEMA elevation certificates
